Apex Skin Starts 2024 with Several Award Honors

Mayfield Heights, OH – (March 4, 2024) – Apex Skin proudly kicks off the new year with a remarkable sweep of prestigious awards, solidifying their commitment to the community and excellence in patient care. The practice’s unwavering dedication has been recognized across various platforms, showcasing their expertise and impact in the dermatology landscape.

Apex Drs. Jorge Garcia, Brian Moore, and Nely Aldrich were each presented with a Castle Connolly “Top Doctor” award. This honor represents the top 7% of all U.S. practicing physicians and is a peer-nominated accolade. The winners of this national award are thoroughly vetted by a physician-led research team and embody best-in-class clinical care and interpersonal skills.

Several of the Apex locations were also spotlighted by Reputation with a prestigious “800 Award.” The 800 Award is a top recognition for location-level businesses with best-in-class reputation. Each of the winners has proven to go above and beyond in delivering on brand promise by listening to and acting on feedback from consumers. This year’s Aesthetic Everything awards were based on over 50,000 votes from the public. This award is particularly special to the founder and CEO of Apex, Dr. Jorge Garcia-Zuazaga, as it showcases both his Latino roots and his devotion to growing his business locally. Apex Skin Vice President of Marketing, Ruth Barnum, has been honored as a 2024 Smart Women Awards honoree! This award recognizes the achievements of leading businesswomen and addresses issues facing women in the workplace. Ruth joined the Apex team as the Marketing Director back in 2018 where she built and executed a marketing strategy that has helped grow the practice from 5 clinics when she started, to 14 and still counting! With this success and future vision, Ruth was promoted to Vice President of Marketing, and is now a senior leader at the company. She has big goals for the continued growth of Apex, as well as the heightened impact that Apex can make on our local community.
